Private label supplements made in the EU for Canadian brands

PharmaEurope is a European contract manufacturer that makes white and private label supplements for Canadian brands at a certified plant in the European Union, and it already ships to Canada. White label on a ready-made formula starts from 100 units, your own formula from 500 bottles for capsules and tablets, and powders and sachets from 300 kg of finished blend. Production takes from 2 weeks on a ready-made formula and from 4 weeks on your own. The plant holds ISO 22000:2018, GMP and HACCP certificates and is registered with the US FDA as a food facility. The label is designed and printed at the plant in English and French. Every batch ships with a specification and a Certificate of Analysis, and the standard shelf life is 24 months. For a Canadian brand this is a second supply route that does not run through the United States. PharmaEurope delivers EXW at the plant by default, or FCA or DAP on request, and replies to an enquiry within 24 hours, Monday to Friday.

Can a Canadian brand sell European supplements under its own label?

Yes. PharmaEurope makes white label supplements from 100 units and your own formula from 500 bottles at its plant in the European Union. It then ships the finished, labelled product to Canada. The brand can keep its US supplier, if it has one, and add a second route. A small first run lets it test one product on that route before it moves more of its range.

Is there an alternative to American supplement manufacturers for Canadian brands?

Yes: a European supplement manufacturer gives a Canadian brand a supply route that does not run through the United States. Since 8 September 2026 Canada has applied counter-tariffs of 15%, 25% and 50% to a list of US goods, so a source outside the US is one way to spread the risk across two routes. Canadian opinion points the same way: in a Research Co. poll of 1 to 3 June 2026, 76% of Canadians favoured enhancing trade with the European Union. That question was about trade in general, not about supplements. Goods made at PharmaEurope can enter Canada under CETA when they meet its rules of origin.

What does a Canadian brand get from a European supplement manufacturer?

A Canadian brand gets a finished, labelled and documented product from one EU plant, starting from 100 units. The table shows what PharmaEurope supplies for each need.

Can one European supplement manufacturer handle the whole project?

Yes. PharmaEurope runs every step at its own plant: formula and sample, label and packaging design, printing, manufacturing, filling, quality control and export documents. Nothing goes to a separate packer or printer between blending and the finished pack, and everything is priced in one quote. The brand signs off twice, first the sample and then the final artwork, and nothing is printed or produced before both approvals. See all services.

What is the MOQ for made in Europe supplements shipped to Canada?

The MOQ starts at 100 units on a ready-made formula. Your own formula starts from 500 bottles per product for capsules and tablets, and powders and sachets from 300 kg of finished blend. Effervescent tablets come in tubes of 20, with a low minimum order quoted per tube count. Each product has its own minimum. The full table is on the minimum order quantity page.

“Ordering a first batch from a small workshop is a real risk for a brand: quality is not guaranteed from batch to batch, and there is no capacity to grow when the product takes off. We went the other way and invested in new, flexible production lines, where switching to the next product does not cost hours of changeover and cleaning — the losses that make older plants ask for thousands of units. That is why a first run of a ready-made formula can start from 100 units, and the same line scales up when the product sells.”

Is there duty on European supplements imported into Canada under CETA?

It depends on the tariff line. For example, in the CBSA Customs Tariff 2026, tariff item 2106.90.99 carries a most-favoured-nation rate of 10.5% and the CETA-EU rate Free, for goods that meet the CETA rules of origin. Your importer or customs broker confirms the right line for your product. CETA requires an origin statement on the invoice, which you discuss with PharmaEurope at the quote. What the plant hands over for import is set out on importing supplements from Europe to Canada.

How long does it take to get made in Europe supplements to Canada?

Production takes from 2 weeks on a ready-made formula and from 4 weeks on your own. On the shortest published sailings, sea transit to Montreal takes about 11 days port to port from Rotterdam and about 13 days from Antwerp. Door to door takes longer, and Canadian clearance follows arrival.

Are made in Europe supplements tested before they ship to Canada?

Yes. Every PharmaEurope batch is tested before release and leaves the plant with its Certificate of Analysis. The final checks cover:

  • physical parameters: average weight, uniformity of mass, disintegration time;
  • microbiological purity: yeasts and moulds within limits, no E. coli, no Salmonella;
  • heavy metals;
  • the assay of each active ingredient against the label;
  • the seal of the pack.

The ISO 22000:2018, GMP and HACCP certificates cover tablets, capsules and powders. Scans are on the certifications page.

Which private label supplements can be made in Europe for Canada?

PharmaEurope makes capsules, tablets, softgels, effervescent tablets, powders, sachets, sports nutrition, syrups and vitamin oils, with more than 500 ready-made formulas in production. Canadian brands most often ask about vitamin D3, magnesium, creatine, protein powder, electrolyte powders and collagen. Send the format and the quantity, and the answer comes with the quote.

Is there a European supplement manufacturer that ships to Canada?

Yes. PharmaEurope is a contract manufacturer of white and private label food supplements with a certified plant in the European Union, and it already ships to Canada. Delivery is EXW at the plant by default, with FCA or DAP on request.

What is an alternative to American supplement manufacturers for a Canadian brand?

An EU supplier is one. PharmaEurope manufactures in the European Union, so a Canadian brand gets a second supply route that does not run through the United States. Goods can enter Canada under CETA when they meet its rules of origin, and a first run can start from 100 units on a ready-made formula.

Are Canadians buying European supplements?

The poll most often cited is about trade, not supplements: in a Research Co. poll of 1 to 3 June 2026, 76% of Canadians favoured enhancing trade with the European Union. PharmaEurope treats the EU route as a supply decision for your brand, and a first run from 100 units tests demand for one product.

What is the difference between white label and private label at PharmaEurope?

White label at PharmaEurope means a ready-made formula sold under your brand, from 100 units. Private label means your own formula, or a catalogue formula adjusted with a different dose, a swapped ingredient or a new flavour, from 500 bottles for capsules and tablets.

What is the MOQ for made in Europe supplements at PharmaEurope?

PharmaEurope makes white label products from 100 units on a ready-made formula, your own formula from 500 bottles for capsules and tablets, and powders and sachets from 300 kg of finished blend. Each product has its own minimum.

Can one company make the whole product, from formula to label?

Yes. PharmaEurope does the formula and sample, label and packaging design, printing, manufacturing, filling, quality control and export documents at its own plant, in one quote. One company answers for the finished product.

Which certificates does the PharmaEurope plant hold?

The PharmaEurope plant holds ISO 22000:2018, GMP to the Food Supplements Europe guide and HACCP under Regulation (EC) 852/2004, all issued by BM Certification. Their scope covers tablets, capsules and powders. Copies with their numbers are sent on request.

Is the PharmaEurope plant registered with the US FDA?

The PharmaEurope plant is registered with the US FDA as a food facility. That is a registration, not an approval: the FDA does not approve or certify supplement manufacturers.

Can PharmaEurope print the label in English and French?

Yes. PharmaEurope designs and prints the label and packaging at the plant in English and French. Your licence holder supplies the regulatory text and the NPN, and nothing is printed until you approve the final artwork.

What documents come with every batch from PharmaEurope?

Every PharmaEurope batch ships with a specification and a Certificate of Analysis. Raw material documentation, an allergen statement and a shelf-life statement are provided with the order or on request, and copies of the site certificates come on request.

Can I get a sample before the first order?

Yes. PharmaEurope sends samples of existing products to companies seriously considering an order, so you can check the product, the pack and the label before the first batch.
