Private label sachets
PharmaEurope manufactures private label sachets in Europe. Sachets are filled and sealed in the European Union, at the plant in Mārupe, Latvia, under ISO 22000:2018, GMP and HACCP. Your brand is printed directly on the paper layer of the sachet, so there is no separate label to apply.
In short: a sachet is one exact serving of powder, sealed the moment it's filled, built for a product that travels in a pocket or bag and has to be dosed without a scoop. The minimum is set at the mixing stage — with a low minimum order, the same threshold as our bulk powders — with production in 4 to 8 weeks.

A sachet is one serving of powder, sealed at the moment it is filled: the customer tears the top and stirs it into water. It is the format for a product that has to be dosed exactly, carried in a pocket or a handbag, and sold as a course of separate servings rather than a jar with a scoop.

Finished sachets are filled and sealed on the sachet line at the plant in Mārupe, then cartoned on an IMA IC 150 cartoning machine before dispatch.
When a sachet is the right format
- When the serving is a few grams, not a few hundred milligrams. Collagen, electrolytes, magnesium, fibre, hot-drink powders — anything a capsule cannot carry at a useful dose.
- When the dose must be exact without a scoop. A jar asks the customer to measure; a sachet does not. For a product where the serving matters, that removes the most common way a customer takes it wrong.
- When the product travels. A sachet goes in a bag, a pocket or a hotel room. A jar with a scoop stays in the kitchen.
- When it is sold as a course or a subscription. Thirty sachets in a carton is a month, and the customer can see what a month looks like.
- The cost of the format. A sachet costs more per serving than the same powder in a jar, because you are paying for the laminate and the filling of every single dose. Where the customer is happy with a scoop and a jar, a jar is the cheaper product — and we will say so.

The barrier. It stops light, oxygen and moisture, which is what a powder with flavours, vitamins or hygroscopic ingredients needs to survive its shelf life.

What the powder decides for you
- Bulk density decides the sachet height. A light, fluffy powder needs a taller sachet than a dense one at the same gram weight, so the format follows the product rather than the other way round.
- Flavoured powders are moisture-sensitive, which is exactly what the foil layer is for.
- Particle size decides whether it dissolves in a glass or clumps in it. Too fine and it clumps and sticks; too coarse and it sits at the bottom. This is set during formulation, not fixed afterwards.
- The serving size decides the sachet, and the number of sachets decides the carton.
Ready-made or your own formula
Ready-made powder formulas can be filled into sachets instead of jars. A developed formula is built to your specification: the blend, the flavour system, the serving weight and the sachet size are decided together, because in this format they are the same decision.
Certified manufacturing
Production runs under ISO 22000:2018, certificate MSC-22-1384, issued by BM Certification and valid to 7 January 2029. HACCP under Regulation (EC) 852/2004; the Food Supplements Europe GMP guide; and US FDA facility registration 13674831934.
Filling and sealing sit inside the same certified scope as the blending, at the same site in Mārupe, Latvia, operated by SIA Pharma Market Solutions under the same ownership as PharmaEurope.
The certificate covers that site as a whole under number MSC-22-1384; sachets are filled on the same certified line as our bulk powders rather than named individually in the printed scope.

About sachet manufacturing
How much powder fits in one sachet?
A sachet holds four to twelve grams, depending on the bulk density of the blend. A light powder at the top of that range needs a taller sachet than a dense powder of the same weight, so the sachet size is set once the formula and the serving weight exist.
What is the sachet made of?
A three-layer laminate: paper on the outside, aluminium foil in the middle as the barrier against light, oxygen and moisture, and a sealing film on the inside that closes the sachet. Your brand is printed directly on the paper layer, so there is no separate label.
Can my brand be printed on the sachet itself?
Yes — the printing goes straight onto the paper layer of the laminate, so there is no separate label to apply. You supply finished artwork built to the guide we send, and we check it against the EU labelling and claims rules before the print run.
When is a sachet better than a jar?
When the serving has to be exact without a scoop, when the powder travels, or when it is sold as a course. When the customer is happy to measure at home, a jar is cheaper per serving and the better commercial choice.
What is your MOQ?
This format is quoted by the weight of the finished blend: from 300 kg, the same threshold as our bulk powder format, with production in 4 to 8 weeks. How many finished sachets that is depends on your fill weight — tell us the grammage and we will convert it.
Can you develop the powder, or do I have to supply a formula?
We do both. A ready-made powder formula can go into sachets, or a blend can be developed to your specification. In this format the blend, the flavour and the serving weight are decided together, because the sachet size follows the weight and the bulk density of the finished powder.
How long does it take?
4 to 8 weeks, counted from approval of the formula and the artwork.
Where are the sachets made?
At the plant in Mārupe, Latvia, inside the European Union, operated by SIA Pharma Market Solutions under the same ownership as PharmaEurope. Filling sits inside the ISO 22000 scope, which reads manufacturing and packaging of food supplements.
How fast do you respond to a sachet enquiry?
We reply within 24 hours, Monday to Friday of receiving your brief. For a tight launch date, WhatsApp reaches us faster than email, and we treat it with the same priority as a standard enquiry, just sooner.
What shelf life do sachets carry?
We set a standard shelf life of 24 months, confirmed in the Certificate of Analysis issued with the batch. Because the fill is sealed on contact with air, the laminate and the seal integrity matter to that date as much as the powder itself.
What equipment fills and cartons the sachets?
Sachets are filled and sealed on the sachet line at the plant in Mārupe and cartoned on an IMA IC 150 cartoning machine before the cartons are dispatched to your warehouse. The Cremer CF 1220 counter on the same site is for tablets and capsules, not for powder.
Does the ISO 22000 certificate cover sachets by name?
The certificate covers the Mārupe site under number MSC-22-1384, valid to 7 January 2029. Its published scope names tablets, capsules and powders; sachets are filled at the same certified site rather than named individually in that scope.
