Own-brand supplements for pharmacies, clinics and practitioners
A pharmacy shelf is judged on paperwork as much as on product. Capsules and tablets run from 500 bottles per product in 4 to 8 weeks, and every batch leaves the plant with its documentation. The site holds ISO 22000:2018 under certificate MSC-22-1384, valid to 7 January 2029.
What comes with the order
- Certificate of Analysis per batch, with the batch documents an inspection asks to see
- Manufactured in the EU — SIA Pharma Market Solutions, Mārupe, Latvia — and the certificates are issued to that site
- More than 300 ready-made formulas already in production, so a first line needs no development
- The same specification repeats for years, which is what a recommended line needs
An own-brand line is a margin decision, not a branding one
A pharmacy already sells magnesium, vitamin D and omega-3. Putting its own name on them changes the margin per pack, not the category. That is why the interesting question is never “what should we launch” but “which three products do we already sell every week”. Those three are the ones worth owning, and they are almost always in the ready-made catalogue, which means no development cost and no development time.
What a practitioner is actually vouching for
When a pharmacist or a clinician recommends a product with their own name on it, they take on the part of the trust that the brand used to carry. That only works if the documentation behind it is real and available: composition, allergens, shelf life, and an analysis of the batch that is on the shelf now. All of it is issued with the order, and the certificates carry numbers that can be checked rather than logos that cannot.
Repeatability matters more than novelty
A recommended product is bought again in three months. A formula that drifts between batches breaks that quietly, and the first sign is a customer saying it feels different. Production here runs against one approved specification and one batch record, so a repeat order is the same product rather than a close one.
Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum order for a pharmacy's own-brand supplement?
Capsules and tablets run from 500 bottles per product. Softgels from a ready-made formula start from 500 pieces. Production takes four to eight weeks from approval of the formula and the artwork.
Which certificates does the manufacturing site hold?
ISO 22000:2018 under certificate MSC-22-1384, valid to 7 January 2029, GMP-FS-01 to the Food Supplements Europe guide and HACCP-01 under Regulation (EC) 852/2004. The site is also registered with the US FDA under 13674831934.
Do we get a Certificate of Analysis with each batch?
Yes. The Certificate of Analysis for your batch is issued with the order, together with the batch documentation, the product specification and the allergen and shelf-life statements.
Who is responsible for notifying the product before sale?
The company named on the label. Food supplements in the EU are notified, not approved, and the brand owner files with its national authority. We supply the composition and the batch documentation the filing is built on.
