An own-brand line is a margin decision, not a branding one
A pharmacy already sells magnesium, vitamin D and omega-3. Putting its own name on them changes the margin per pack, not the category. That is why the interesting question is never “what should we launch” but “which three products do we already sell every week”. Those three are the ones worth owning, and they are almost always in the ready-made catalogue, which means no development cost and no development time.

When a pharmacist or a clinician recommends a product with their own name on it, they take on the part of the trust that the brand used to carry.
