Extra capacity and a second source for established brands
A brand that already sells doesn’t come looking for a catalogue — it comes because one supplier is a single point of failure, or because a product needs to exist that nobody else makes. PharmaEurope works from your specification, or writes one with you, and proves it on a trial batch before the first production run, backed by certificates with stated numbers and expiry dates.
What comes with the order
- Your own formula proved on a trial batch before the first production run
- Custom softgels from 1,000,000 capsules; ready-made softgel formulas from 500 pieces, with selected first runs from 100 units
- Syrups from 100 litres, oils with vitamins from 20 litres
- Same certified site and the same batch documentation as every other order
Three concerns established brands raise before ordering
“Adding a second manufacturer is risky if we can’t verify the plant.”
The site holds ISO 22000:2018 (MSC-22-1384, valid to 7 January 2029), GMP-FS-01 and HACCP-01 (valid to 17 May 2027) and US FDA registration 13674831934 (valid to 31 December 2026) — all checkable by number, not by a badge on a page.
“Our volume needs a clear minimum for a custom formula.”
A custom formula’s standard run is 500 bottles per product; vitamin oils start from 20 litres and powders from 300 kg of finished blend. Softgels to a custom formula carry a sharply higher minimum, sized to the specific format — ask for the figure for your exact product.
“Our current documentation package is specific — will yours actually match it?”
The form won’t be identical, but the content is: composition, allergens, shelf life, batch record and a Certificate of Analysis for the batch, issued against the specification agreed and proved on the trial run.
A second source is only a second source if it is documented like the first
Splitting a product across two manufacturers protects the supply and threatens the product, because two plants working from two slightly different interpretations of a specification produce two slightly different products. What makes the split safe is boring: one written specification, one agreed method of analysis, and batch documentation in the same form from both sides. That is the part worth agreeing before the first purchase order, not after the first complaint.
Custom formulation is a volume decision before it is a technical one
Developing a product nobody else sells is straightforward; paying for it is the question. The development cost is fixed and the volume decides whether it disappears into the unit price or sits on top of it. Softgels to your own formula start from 1,000,000 capsules for exactly this reason, while a ready-made softgel formula starts from 500 pieces. Between those two numbers is the honest conversation about what a custom product needs to sell.
What we need from you to quote properly
The specification if you have one, the analysis method you expect, the pack, the annual volume and the market the product is sold into. A quote built on those is a quote you can hold us to. A quote built on a product name and a target price is a number that changes after the first trial, which helps nobody.
Frequently asked questions
Can you manufacture to our own specification?
Yes. We work from your specification, or write one with you, and prove it on a trial batch before the first production run. The trial is quoted separately because it is real production time on real equipment.
What is the minimum for custom softgels?
Softgels to your own formula start from 1,000,000 capsules. Softgels from a ready-made formula start from 500 pieces, and selected first runs from 100 units, which is the route most brands take for a first product.
What are the minimums for liquids?
Syrups start from 100 litres and oils with vitamins from 20 litres. Both are produced and filled at the same plant in Mārupe, Latvia.
Will the documentation match our existing supplier's?
The form will not be identical, but the content is: composition, allergens, shelf life, batch record and a Certificate of Analysis for the batch. Agreeing the analysis method up front is what keeps two sources comparable.
Can PharmaEurope act as a second source in a market we don’t currently manufacture in?
Likely yes — production here already supplies brands across Europe, the Middle East, China, Africa and South America, with turnover on the same trading profile reported at €1.2 to 5.7 million for 2020–2024. A trial batch on your specification is the way to confirm fit before committing volume.
What is the minimum for a custom formula versus a ready-made one?
A ready-made formula starts from 100 units on selected first runs; a custom formula’s standard run is 500 bottles per product. Powders start from 300 kg of finished blend and vitamin oils from 20 litres.
How is a trial batch handled before full production commits?
It is quoted and produced separately, on real equipment and real production time, before the first full run is scheduled — so your specification, or one written together, is proved against the actual result rather than a sample estimate.
More on who we manufacture for: all six kinds of buyer.
Moving into a new region with the same manufacturer
An established brand moving into a new region usually needs the same manufacturer to move with it. PharmaEurope already supplies brands across Europe, the Middle East, China, Africa and South America — the association profile behind this operation lists Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and the UAE among its main markets, with turnover of €1.2 to 5.7 million reported for 2020–2024. What travels with every order regardless of destination is the specification, the Certificate of Analysis and the site certificates — PharmaEurope’s side of the work. The registration filing with the destination country’s own authority is held locally, by a representative established there, the same as inside the EU, where the filing is a notification rather than an approval.
Get a quote for your quantity
Tell us the format, the active, the dose and how many units you need for the first run. You will get a price for that quantity and for a larger one, so you can see where the unit cost goes.
